Waarschijnlijk kun jij je mijn eerste CLD post nog wel herinneren. Ik kreeg ontzettend veel leuke en lieve reacties dus toen ik werd gevraagd voor een vervolg hoefde ik niet lang na te denken. Deze keer koos ik als thema: one-pieces. Ik vind een body eigenlijk altijd mooi maar kan zelden een passend exemplaar vinden. Kan ik wel uit de voeten met deze body uit de plus size Christine le Duc collectie?

Mijn vriend had binnen no time een camera in zijn handen toen ik vertelde dat ik wat lingeriefoto’s nodig had voor een blogpost. Typisch weer … Maar goed, in alle eerlijkheid, hij heeft mooie foto’s van me gemaakt. Het weer zat enorm tegen dus de beelden zijn iets korreliger dan ik had gehoopt, maar je kunt niet alles hebben. Zeker niet in de winter (lente, als je me hoort: breng jezelf!).
Body: Besired
Bij de eerste samenwerking met CLD heb ik me vooral gefocust op bh’s en broekjes. De oplettende lezer kan zich mijn oeps-ik-koos-een-broekje-met-een-open-kruis-moment vast nog wel herinneren. Deze keer ging ik voor een body en een playsuit uit hun plus size collectie. Een leuke uitdaging omdat ik altijd moeite heb met het vinden van one-pieces die echt goed passen. Tussen mijn boven- en onderlijf zit ongeveer drie kledingmaten verschil. Wat, zoals meestal, weer de truc bleek? Stretch. Echt, ik blijf het zeggen: stretch is mijn beste vriendin (als het op mode aankomt dan…)
Deze body is een mix van mesh en kant, ik voel me er heel fijn in als ik ‘m aan heb. Door de enorme stretch is de pasvorm heel comfy. En ik vind het ook gewoon een sexy dingetje. Door de elastische stof volgt de body de contouren van je lichaam. Hierdoor is deze maat XXL geschikt voor verschillende plus size babes. Voor mij is lingerie een goede manier om mijn lichaam op een andere manier te waarderen dan wanneer ik een leuke outfit aantrek. Je hoeft het absoluut niet met de wereld te delen (that’s just me). Het is juist een manier om iets voor jezelf te doen. Ik voel me altijd sexy in mooie lingerie. Het is een soort geheimpje dat ik, letterlijk, met me meedraag gedurende de dag.
Playsuit KissMe & bra Besired Julia
Mijn tweede keuze is een playsuit met een diepe V-hals. Het pakje heeft een open rug dus hier moet je wel oke mee zijn. Of je kunt er natuurlijk iets onder doen zoals een body, een hemdje of en bh. Zelf combineerde ik het met een bh van CLD. Ik vind het een perfect pakje voor een romantisch avondje. Of voor tijdens een nachtje in een hotel. Ziet er toch net iets leuker uit dan je favoriete verwassen joggingbroek.
En dan als laatste nog wat ongevraagd advies. Niet omdat het moet, maar omdat het kan. Wees niet bang om te experimenteren met lingerie. Vind je het nog wat spannend? Let dan vooral goed op de stoffen. Stretch maakt heel veel mogelijk. Wil je het accent op je taille leggen? Ga dan voor een hoog broekje. Probeer dingen uit zodat je ontdekt waar jij je fijn bij voelt. En als dat nu eenmaal een simpel katoenen broekje is, voel je daar dan niet ellendig over. Jouw lijf, jouw regels, jouw lingerie. Vergeet nooit: je mag er zijn no matter what.

When I told my boyfriend that I had to shoot some lingerie he came running with a camera. Ghe. I must say: I think my love did a pretty great job. The weather was really bad so it’s more grainy than I like them to be. Oh well, you can’t have it all. Especially in winter.
Body: Besired
Back to what it’s all about: the lingerie. Last time I focused on bra’s and a cute high waist brief from the plus size Christine le Duc collection. This time I chose to try something that’s more tricky: a body and a play suit. What makes it a bit harder is the fit. I’m a couple of sizes smaller on my upper body compared to my hips, so one-pieces usually don’t fit. The trick: stretchy fabrics! I’ve said it before: stretch really is my bff.
The body is a mix of lace and mesh. I really feel great when I wear it. The fit is supercomfortable. And I think it’s hella sexy. If you ask me it’s a great piece to upgrade your confidence level. Because of the stretch it follows your curves. I believe that lingerie is a fun way to appreciate your body in another way than putting on cute clothes. You don’t have to share it with the world (like I’m doing), it can just be something you do for you. I always feel sexy when I wear lingerie. It’s like my little secret.
Playsuit KissMe & bra Besired Julia
My second choice is a playsuit with a deep V-neck. It has an open back so you have to be cool with that. Or you can put a bra, body or top under it to have less of a naked look. To me this would be a perfect item to put on during a romantic evening. Or maybe when I’m staying in a hotel with my boyfriend. Just like the body it’s very stretchy. I combined it with a pretty bra from the plus size range from Christine le Duc but it looked very cute with the lace body underneath it too.
A little extra you-did-not-ask-for-this-but-I-am-giving-it-to-you-anyway-advice … Don’t be afraid to experiment with lingerie. Does it still kinda scare you? Focus on the fabrics. You come a long way with stretchy items. Do you want to accentuate your waistline? Put on a high waisted brief. Try to figure out what type of lingerie you love. And if that turns out to be a super simple cotton brief, don’t make yourself feel shitty about that. Simply embrace what you love to put on. Your body, your rules, your lingerie. Never forget that you’re good enough. You deserve everything good in life.
