“It was the happiest day of my life when I realized I was allowed to love my body”
Instagram makes me crush a lot. On girls that is. A while ago I bumped into the gorgeous Siphokazi Veti (22) from Johannesburg. She doesn’t just share beautiful pictures but she shares her beautiful mind as well. She is an accounting student and was greatly influenced by arts, that’s why she loves to write. I just had to feature Siphokazi Veti as Thursday Thunder on my blog. Get to know this lovely lady a bit better!
‘You will never be able to love your body as long as you cringe at the thought of looking at it’
It’s Thursday again, so you know what that means: time for some thunder! There are so many inspiring women out there and this is my way of celebrating them – and asking them all about their body confidence. This weeks Thunder comes from student, model and blogger Marianne Nykjaer (26). She’s from Belgium – give me waffles please!!- and absolutely gorgeous. And she got some pretty damn good advice for us too!
‘True confidence is not needing approval from anyone’
It’s Thursday! Time for some thunder! As you’ve probably noticed I’m a big fan of the ALDA Women collective. Julie Henderson is one of the five models whose goal it is to empower women and change the perception of beauty. I love their message and I am very excited to feature Julie today! This curly goddess has been modeling for 13 years and lives in Brooklyn New York. On The Publisized she shares her boost of thunder, talks about what ALDA Women means to her and how important it is for women to put self care first.
